In case you’re already looking for your Christmas present, we’re here to talk about one of the most pleasingly geeky auctions we’ve seen in a while. Set to take place in Brooklands, UK, on Saturday, November 30, the event will be led by a genuine Concorde windscreen, as well as pieces of Ford GT40 bodywork.
The Concorde windscreen was taken off as part of a refit in the 70s and is expected to grab around GBP1,000 ($1,600 or EUR 1,190).
As for the GT40 front and rear bodywork, these belong to the P/1004 chassis, one of the earliest made. Yes, they’ve spent some time at Le Mans and they should fetch around GBP8,000 ($12,900 or EUR9,500).
The auction, which will be held by Historics at Brooklands, will also see a list of retro plane and car scale models go under the hammer.
Other sweet items, such as race apparel and brochures, will also be available. You can check out the press release below for the complete list of items to be auctioned.
