What started off as a rather silly and dull touring bike ended up in full custom glory, after passing through the hands of the amazing guys at Classified Moto. This Yamaha XV920R is now a completely different bike, having gotten rid of much unnecessary weight, plastic and sporting nifty upgrades which transformed it into a mean machine.
The signature modding for Classified Moto is the sportbike fork installation, and this machine received a high-performance Yamaha R6 front end. Even more, the wheels came from an R6-R and an R6-S, for front and rear, respectively, with bespoke spacers to accommodate the fat front tire for an impeccable, massive bobber look.
Chopping off the rear section of the subframe was also a natural move form Classified Moto, and the solo seat was trimmed in a retro, elegant diamond pattern-stitched seat, screaming asphalt aggression and raw, hard-to-tame style. A massive conical high-flow air filter replaced the old airbox and custom exhaust lines and silencers were also fabricated.
And as if the new lines of the machine were not already evil enough, Classified Moto decided to ditch the clip-ons in favor of some more hooligan-like off-road-ish bars which add a ton of style with their scrambler attire. A single-piece multi-function digital gauge was also installed and the Yamaha XV920R was ready for shipping to a North Carolina customer. Unbelievably sweet!
