Chevrolet has released preliminary details of the Tahoe and Suburban-based SUV concepts that will be showcased at the 2013 SEMA Show later this week.
The newly-unveiled 2015 Chevrolet Suburban will show up in Las Vegas as the Half-Pipe Concept, a vehicle “equipped to haul adventurers and all their ski and snowboard gear to the slopes”. Like most SEMA-bound Chevys, the Half-Pipe will feature several Chevrolet Accessories parts, such as roof rack/crossbars and 22-inch wheels, while interior enhancements will include Blu-Ray rear-seat entertainment, leather-trimmed seats and fold-flat second and third-row seats.
Moving over to the 2015 Tahoe, the new SUV will be represented by the Black Concept and the Police Concept. The former gained an aggressive appearance thanks to a lowered stance and all-black profile with tinted headlamps, windows and an aero-style body package, while the latter previews the upcoming Tahoe-based police SUV.
The Police Concept is fitted with the Tahoe 9C1 package, which includes emergency lighting, police-specific suspension, auxiliary battery for emergency equipment and a 5.3-liter V8 engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
