TRD recently posted this new video to showcase its 86 Griffon Concept and show its track capabilities.
Debuting last year at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the TRD 86 Griffon was specially designed for track use, coming with heavy modifications in order to shave off weight, strengthen the chassis and improve overall performance.
New additions are represented by carbon fiber body panels, a TRD bucket seat, shifter, ignition button and gauges, as well as a Momo steering wheel and Takata seatbelts.
Performance has been also increased by fitting it with sport suspension, TRD differential, new oil cooler, racing brakes and 18-inch lightweight rims wrapped in Yokohama Advan tires.
