The Chinese keep surprising me with all sorts of BMWs these days, some of which are actually good looking. Yesterday we saw a Matte Steel Blue E90 3 Series and today we’re indulging ourselves in some chameleon wrap.
The vinyl I’m talking about was applied to a BMW E70 X5 that was also done tastefully. You’ll notice that all of its chromed exterior trims were blacked out, the wheels received the same treatment whilst other parts seems to be coming straight from Hamann.
The front bumper, the vented hood and the rear bumper seem to be Hamann designed whilst the DRL LEDs up front are a bit disappointing. Since this is China, I’m guessing none of these parts were cheap (not to mention the car) so it doesn’t really make sense to cheap out on those LEDs, the one thing I would change apart from that M badge on the kidney grille.
