Cayman GTR has only 20 clones

Farnbacher Loles Motorsport is a small tuning company based in Connecticut, that few people have heard of, but now it just became a name that brings a grin on any Cayman owner's face.

Why, you ask? Well, because they just thought of taking the best  chassis that Porsche currently builds and put the most powerful engine they could find on it, then cover it in Cayman's body and name it GTR.  Porsche engineers should now probably start to worry about this baby Porsche transformed into a 911 killer, but they'll be happy to find out that only 20 GTRs will be built.

Anyway, Farnbacher offers this GTR either as a transformation of your already owned Cayman, for a price of 41,600 euros, or for a price of 87,400 euros including the car.
The chassis is the one from the Cayman, and so is the body which suffered a few modifications including carbon fiber mirrors, a height-adjustable rear spoiler and a 997 front aero-kit.

A new 3.8 liter X51 engine is installed, the same found on the Carrera S, with custom built headers and exhaust. For a better cooling of the engine, a third radiator is installed and the air intakes' size is increased. Currently, the engine output is somewhere around 380 bhp, but with stage II tuning package, it is possible to pass the 400 bhp mark.
The engine's power is transmitted to a close ratio gearbox with a Sachs Sport Clutch and a limited slip differential. Suspension is revised using harder springs, adjustable shocks  and heavier  anti-roll bars.  In order to  provide the car with  serious stopping power, the Cayman's stock brakes  were replaced with  Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB).
In order to put all the power to the ground, new wheels are fitted to the car, with 285/30/19 Yokohama Advan Sport rear tires and 245/35/19 front tires mounted on forged Fiske rims.

In order to ensure a complete tuning package, the inside of the stock car is revised, using Alcantara covered bucket seats, carbon-fiber trim for the center console and a 6-point safety harness.

All modifications are also available separately, so the Cayman could be transformed only in performance, becoming a fatal "sleeper" who offers surprises to  911 or Carrera drivers who think they bought a fast Porsche.
