The arrival of the new S-Class must spell the beginning of a tuning party spreading across Europe like wildfire. After all, this car is being heralded as the best Mercedes ever.
Carlsson has responded in force to the launch of the new S and has released its in-depth tuning project which goes all the way up to the top S63 AMG model.
Starting with the power increases, the Germans can tune your S500’s 4.7-liter twin-turbo V8 to 610 hp and 900 Nm (663 lb-ft) of torque. More kits will be available soon, but the real headline grabber is that the S63 AMG can be tuned to 780 hp and 1,060 Nm of torque. That’s more power than any Lamborghini!
Carlsson also has a wide range of exterior goodies lined up for the S-Class, with more to come. A new front bumper with larger air intakes and a prominent chin spoiler. Subtle new side skirts and a a quad exhaust system with revised lower bumper are all fitted to the saloon, together with a selection of custom wheels in sizes from 19- to 21-inches.
