Carbon Fiber Toilet Seat for Racing Bottoms

Christmas has just ended and, let’s admit it, most of us guys didn’t get what we really wanted. A really good gift for a guy should be redundant, very shiny and should impress his other guy friends. We think this Carbon Fiber Toilet Seat ticks all those boxes.

When you think of carbon fiber, the first thing that comes to mind should be a racing car’s body or some aerospace components, definitely not something found in the bathroom. But the technology has become so widespread that manufacturers are making pens or even yachts from the material.

"We’re proud to offer a genuine carbon fiber toilet seat, made with hand layered carbon fiber around a premolded foam core. Be weary of other less expensive seats that may use a wood core...they are much heavier, which defeats the whole purpose of carbon fiber,” states the manufacturer’s description of the toilet seat.

When the website selling them uses such corny sayings as “You know how fast a little fiber can make you go”, you know it’s going to be good. We don’t know how you would ever get the idea to make one, but it does look cool and it is made out of 100% real carbon fiber. Fitting it to a bog-standard toilet should be a piece of cake, as the carbonfibergear.com website promises it fits standard size toilets and it even comes with mounting hardware.

The seat was manufactured using an epoxy resin system and 550,000 psi tensile carbon fiber. The carbon fiber features a 2 x 2 twill pattern, that makes the weave look very nice. If you want to buy this piece of toilet art expect to pay $279 (EUR211). These are normally only available in limited quantity, so you should hurry.
