While writing various pieces of news about supecar and hypercar scale models, we noticed that in this generously-sized world of aficionados, there doesn’t seem to be any carbon fiber model.
Sure, companies like McLaren have though us that it’s not easy to work with this wonder material and we can imagine the difficulties encountered when working on the little details.
Nevertheless, since we have carbon fiber high heel shoes, we should also have a scale model. In the real world the automotive real has taken inspiration from the aeronautical industry and the scale model producers should follow. That’s because scale model planes already feature carbon fiber components.
If you happen to know any carbon fiber car scale model, feel free to share it!
PS: Robert Gülpen's 1:8 scale Aventador you see pictured above doesn’t count. That costs $4.8M (EUR3.6M) and we want something we can afford.
