Car and Motorcycle Owned by Slash Up for Auction

Soon, fans of the former lead guitarist of the American rock band Guns N’ Roses, Saul Hudson (better known by his stage name Slash), will get the chance to own exclusive items from the artist’s property, Julien’s Auctions announced recently. The sale will include some of the artist’s famous guitars, memorabilia, vehicles and personal furniture and decor from his Hollywood Hills residence.

Speaking of vehicles, his 1966 Corvette equipped with a big block 427 cubic inch V-8 engine with 435 horsepower and mated to a 4-speed manual transmission is to go under the hammer. The vehicle in question is estimated to fetch between $90,000-$100,000.

Also included in the sale will be a two-wheeled machine namely a 2007 Harley Davidson V-Rod VRSCAW Twin Racing Street Custom Cruiser, which is estimated at $8,000-10,000.

Various custom Marc Vachon leather motorcycle jackets, including one decorated in a Velvet Revolver “Libertad” theme (estimated at $1,000-2,000), will also be featured.

The Collection of Slash auction is scheduled to take place on March 26 in Beverly Hills California, and the auction house says that fans who attend the sale dressed as Slash will receive a free catalog.

Speaking of the catalog, this also includes Slash’s famous guitars, such as a one of a kind custom Stravinski Fender Stratocaster (estimated at $3,000-5,000), a B.C. Rich Red Mockingbird guitar (estimated at $2,000-4,000), and two versions of Slash's very own Gibson and Epiphone Slash Les Paul signature model guitars in Tobacco Sunburst (estimated at $4,000-6,000).
