The Camaro managed to convince 88,249 customers last year, grabbing 37 percent of the sports car market and being followed by the Ford Mustang, with 70, 438 units, which brought the latter a market share of 29 percent.
As for the luxury segment of the sports car market, this was dominated by another Chevy, the Corvette, which gained a 28-percent market share by selling 13,614 units.
