The infotainment system in modern cars has become one of the focal points of a car’s interior. However, some systems, such as BMW’s first generation iDrive require a Bachelor’s Degree in computers to operate, so many people hate them.
In trying to avoid the problem of the user not fully exploiting the technological capabilities of the car, Cadillac have announced that each XTS they sell will come with an iPad loaded with tutorials for the new car’s CUE infotainment system. Also, dealerships will hire additional personnel for CUE support call centers and dealership-based educational initiatives. Each Cadillac dealership will also be required to have two “certified technology experts” available at all times to aid customers in their CUE-related inquiries.
