2013 Cadillac XTS Driving Footage Release

It’s a slow news day, I’ll admit that, and so the only thing to do is to go back and get a better look at an all-new vehicle that’s made a big impression, and we do mean BIG impression. We’re talking about the XTS saloon that made its debut at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show, and dominates the Caddy range like the American luxury monster four-door it is.
Fresh video footage of the XTS being driven has been released, and it’s all about looking good in those massive chrome boots. The vehicle measures 202 inches (513 cm), with a wheelbase of 111 inch (282 cm), allowing it have better leg room than the Audi A6 and BMW 5-Series.

The only engine revealed at the moment is a 3.6-liter V6 with 300 hp at 6,800 rpm and a peak torque of 264 lb-ft at 5,300 rpm, working in unison with a Hydra-Matic 6T70 six-speed auto transmission.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
