American luxury is catching up to za Germans, and Cadillac is currently at the forefront with its 3 Series rivaling ATS sedan. The brand is hoping for a 35% increase in sales this year, helped not only by this compact sedan, but also by the new CTS, which is going to be revealed at the New York Auto Show.
Cadillac dealers expect to get their first look of the brand new CTS at a scheduled dealer meeting in Las Vegas this April, according to a report from Autonews. However, the CTS is also going to be the main guest at the upcoming New York venue next month and has already been photographed completely undisguised.

The new CTS will probably be bigger and more luxurious, targeting the proportions of its biggest rival, the BMW 5 Series. The CTS will target not only luxury, but also economy, and it's going to be offered with a turbocharged 2-liter engine, just like the ATS.

However, it won't be ready to hit dealers nationwide until this fall. Barely in time to help Caddy sales before 2013 comes to an end.
