About a month or so ago we gave you the first alleged leak of what type of wheels will be sported by the upcoming Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG W205.
Back then we speculated that those wheel specifications weren't actually leaked but superimposed on an official Mercedes-Benz dealer pdf, and some recent spy photos of the car in China seem to reinforce our opinion.

For some reason, Mercedes-Benz is also testing pre-production prototypes of the new C 63 AMG in the Middle Kingdom, and one such model was recently snapped by reader of the Auto Home Chinese car site.

As you can see for yourself, what looks like the rear wheel of the car is sporting ContiSport Contact tires which measure 265/40 R18, meaning that these will probably be standard at least for the Chinese variant of the car, if not for the rest of the world as well.

Some pre-production prototypes have also been spotted running on 19-inch wheels, which will probably be standard on the S-Model variant and optional on the “regular” car.

Interestingly, the Chinese “spy photog” also snapped some images from the interior of the test vehicle, showing that when Mercedes-Benz builds pre-production cars for testing they go all the way with interior options.

In the photo with the steering wheel, the little buttons on its left signal that the car is optioned with pretty much everything, including Distronic Plus with Steering Assist, Lane Assist and the 360 degree parking camera system that was recently postponed for the non-AMG C-Class W205 models.
