Briatore to Open Billionaire's Club in Dubai

Flavio Briatore said he'll be back in Formula One in a few years time. We're not sure what role he's going to pick up from former business partner and friend Bernie Ecclestone, but the Italian plans to make the most of his time out of the series until that time comes.

Although his yacht was seized by the Italian police a few months back, his entrepreneurial abilities had little to suffer and the former boss of Renault F1 Team plans to open a new Billionaire's Square complex in Dubai, according to a report issued by the Luxist.

For those of you who don't know what a Billionaire's Square complex is, well... you may imagine it is not for everyday people, but for those with quite extravagant taste. The complex will reportedly be built within the Dubai Media City's Palladium entertainment venue and will cost around $150 million.

The complex will include a boutique luxury hotel, a Billionaire Bar and Grill along with several other restaurants and bars, a VIP fitness club and a boutique selling items from Briatore's ostentatious Billionaire Couture line, maker of items like a $50,000 crocodile skin umbrella,” also noted the report.

And it won't take much to be completed either, as it is expected to be up and ready from as early as 2011.

This project is certainly not a first for Briatore, as the former F1 man is a major investor in the Billionaire's Club, in Sardinia. Like the one projected for Dubai, the club in Sardinia's Costa Smeralda is also destined for super-rich people, one sole example of that being that methuselahs of Cristal go for $50,000 a pop.
