We're at the Essen Motor Show right now, and the car that drew us in like a magnet is a new Brabus iBusiness project based on the W222 S-Class.
Two months ago, they wowed the world with their 850 horsepower office on wheels in Frankfurt, and now they've gone for something a bit more realistic, starting out with the S500, not the V12 AMG engine.
Now called the Brabus B50-520, this tuned S500 gets its power from a 4.7-liter biturbo V8 tuned from 455 hp to 520 hp. In typical Brabus style, there's also lots of torque, 820 Nm of it in fact.
Brabus is not allowing us a peak under the bonnet, and from a cosmetic point of view, the B50-520 and the 850 shown in Frankfurt are basically the same. An exclusive interior and beautiful cosmetic touches makes this something to behold. Minute attention to detail has been payed here, right down to the housing of the Mac Mini computer in the trunk of the car.
