As the X1 turns 4 next year, the people from BMW decided it was time to give it a slight update, to make it more competitive and sought after by everyone, not just Bimmer fans.
The car will receive new exterior accents like daytime driving lights (as standard), new 17” light-alloy wheels with V-spoke design and a the new Sparkling Brown metallic color.
Inside, the instrument cluster visor will be covered with soft-touch materials emphasized by lapfolded seams, whilst the optional interior will now include colors like high-gloss black, matt Coral red or pearl-gloss Chrome.
Those are just details though. The biggest change will be the expansion of BMW ConnectedDrive services, aimed at making the vehicle more connected in every way, with a wide range of mobility services.
Last, but not least, the innovative functions will be integrated in the car’s operating system via apps, through your smartphone or a SIM card installed in the vehicle. The system will support both the Apple iPhone and Android operating systems.
