BMW’s F650GS and F800GS motorbikes have been around since 2007, and have now been revamped for the 2013 model-year. It seems that the Bavarian manufacturer’s confusing naming policy is also applied to their bikes, as both bikes feature the same 798cc parallel-twin engine.
However, to mark a 4 hp increase in power, from 71 hp to 75 hp, the F650GS gets a name change and becomes the F700GS. Another addition to the range is the offering of electronic suspension settings (ASC), stability control (ESA) and a new instrument cluster and switchgear. Other additions include new styling cues, new paint finishes (Ostra Grey Metallic Matte and Glacier Silver Metallic for the F700GS and Kalamata Metallic Matte, Cordoba Blue and Alpine White for the F800GS).

If you are in the market for a very capable enduro bike, the F700GS and F800GS should definitely make your shortlist, as they are both very capable machines, and with these latest additions, they have only gotten better.
