The automotive industry isn’t the only one on the rise for BMW, as their Motorrad division has also registered an increase in its revenue, sales and production, in the second quarter of 2012. The increase in revenue stands at 1.3%, with €848- ($1,045-) million in the bank so far in the year.
However, not all numbers are going up for BMW Motorrad, as their Q2 sales fell by 4.2%, as of last year, with 37,409 units shifted. If we count all the bikes they’ve sold in the first six months of 2011, they would add up to 64,424 - 0.5% more than in the same period of last year. Of the total number, 5235 were Husqvarna-branded.

With the decline of 8.3% in Europe counteracted by a substantial increase in US sales (up by 28.9%), with 7926 units sold so far in the year, as well as a production increase by 4,5% and a staff increase by 3.2% (3001 jobs, up from 2909 last year), we don’t really expect too many fluctuations in coming months.
