The UK market is definitely one of the biggest when it comes to limited edition BMWs. It’s not only that they have a pretty big club of BMW enthusiasts on the Island but apparently something else too that makes people buy this sort of cars.
BMW just announced the pricing for its latest special edition model for the UK. The 30th Anniversary Edition M5 will start at £91,890 and, just like the US, only 30 units will make it across the English channel from Germany.
That kind of money will get you the most powerful and the fastest BMW ever made. 600 HP and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque is the 4.4-liter V8 engine under the bonnet making and the 0-62 mph (100 km/h) sprint is done in 3.9 seconds.
The car comes dressed in an exclusive Frozen Dark Silver metallic paint, wearing 20” bi-color wheels, fitted with the Competition Package, 30 Jahre Edition badges and dark chrome accents.
Inside, Individual Black Alcantara and Full Merino leather cover up everything including the steering wheel. As far as options go, you get Adaptive LED lights, Comfort Access with smart opener, Driving Assistant, lumbar support and split folding rear seats with additional 12 volt power sockets, and a Harman Kardon surround-sound system as standard.
