The new 6-Series by BMW is a considerably more toned-down car in terms of design, than its predecessor, which in M6 guise was properly mean-looking. The F13-based M6 (the new one) is far less in-your-face than the previous one, and while this may be considered a plus for some people, we say that a 560-hp drop-top sports car should shout about its power, in your face.
It looks too much like the regular 6-Series for our liking, despite being (arguably) one of their more successful designs of recent years, especially from the back. However, the M6 and especially the convertible version is addressed more to posers than actual hardcore drivers, who would rather buy the slightly-more-handsome coupe, which is both lighter, stiffer and quicker.
Despite us not being completely won over by its looks, the car has a BMW badge on the front, a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged engine under the bonnet and blistering performance, so it will sell very well - if you have €139,700 ($174,600), that is!
