German automaker BMW has announced full pricing info for its M5 and M6 Competition Package lineup for the UK market. Set to hit the market later this year, each of the four Competition Package models boast no less than 575 HP.
Besides the upgrade output coming out from under the bonnet, the new M5 and M6 versions also sport visual enhancements, such as the M Double-spoke kidney grille, Thin Blade technology tail lights, black chrome exhaust tailpipes and 20-inch M light-alloy wheels.
Inside, there’s a new M steering wheel with M DCT paddles among other stuff, while the Active M Differential has been optimized to enhance the vehicle’s agility during cornering. In addition, new options include black 20-inch wheels, new interior trim choices and Adaptive LED headlights.
As far as performance is concerned, all four model have an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph, while acceleration from 0-62 mph is achieved in 4.1 second by the M6 Coupe and M6 Gran Coupe, and 4.2 seconds in the case of the M5 sedan and the M6 Convertible.
