BMW M5 E39 Makes a Perfect Drift Car

BMW has been holding launch events and airing commercials for the new F10 M5 all over the world, making automotive enthusiasts lust for the vehicle even more than they did when the vehicles was first presented over the web. However, even though the fastest 5er is an astonishing machine, it does come with a major drawback: its price.
We're not here to discuss whether the new M5 offers value for money or not - regardless of what it has to offer, this can only be afforded by a limited number of people. So, what can the others do, beside stare at the thing for hours and hours?

Well, one excellent alternative is to acquire an older model and start playing with it. The E39, the the one from two generations ago, for example, makes a perfect drifting machine, as demonstrated by the adjacent video. Yes, the clip does show a heavily modified example of the car, but we can assure you that the 400 stock horses would also be enough to have a lot of fun.
