BMW M135i Sounds Brutal with the Bastuck Exhaust

The BMW M135i might just be the most complete car in the company’s current line-up. We had the chance to test it out a while back and we were definitely impressed by its dual character. The only problem is it’s a bit ugly up front.
However, BMW is going to address what is known around the forums as the ‘Googly Eyes’ problem with the facelift that is due next year and, hopefully, we’ll have nothing else left to complain about.

Getting back to the car at hand here, it’s been fitted with a Bastuck exhaust system that sound absolutely mental. Bastuck isn’t exactly the most famous aftermarket exhaust manufacturer in the world but that doesn’t mean it can’t put together an awesome product.

As you can hear, it’s more than decent and could probably give the M Performance exhaust a run for its money. However, it’s not just the exhaust’s credit at play here.

The car is, after all, using a 3-liter turbocharged petrol engine with an inline 6-cylinder architecture and that alone offers it a special sound that sets it apart from all the I4 or V6s out there.

The M135i has 320 HP and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque at its disposal all day, every day, to do with as it pleases. That means the 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint is done with in just 4.9 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster if its all-wheel-drive. It feels a lot faster though.
