After a long wait, the BMW and iPhone 5 owners in the US can finally have the best of both worlds. That's because the Germans just announced that the iPhone 5/5S and Samsung Galaxy S2/S3 Mini Snap-In Adapters will be available in the US shortly.
The adapter, however, is only available with the new NBT version of Navigation and the latest iDrive system. Furthermore, for complete functionality, your BMW should be fitted with the Apps optional feature.

- Phone - allows you to charge your phone and offers enhanced reception
- Music - for cars manufactured up to September 2010 (October for X5/X6)
- Media - for cars manufactured starting with September 2010
- Connect - specific to NBT vehicles and BMW Apps.
