Between September 28 and October 6, in the world-famous French town of Saint-Tropez, the breath-taking spectacle of 'Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez' (the Sails of Saint-Tropez) will take place, bringing together some of the most beautiful yachts in the world.
More than 300 modern and classic yachts are expected to show up, to say goodbye to yet another beautiful summer, in the Mediterranean. This year, BMW announced that it will become an official partner of Societe Nautique de Saint-Tropez, the organizing committee for the event.
“We are delighted to be able to announce the partnership with the renowned yacht club Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez and the captivating Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez. This prestigious event is a true highlight for more than just sailing enthusiasts,” said Eckhard Wannieck, Head of BMW International Sponsorship, Cooperations and Product Placement.
World Record holder, Loïck Peyron will be presented as the new BMW Ambassador for France at the regatta. Furthermore, Peyron will not be alone at the unveiling, the BMW i8 coming along for the ride also.
