The future of Saab has started to look a bit brighter recently. While liquidation of asset is a given, the brand might survive, and for the sake it employees that have fought to keep the company alive, we hope the European production facilities will as well. What we mean is that building Saabs in China, or making them out of Chinese chassis is not really a solution.
Right, getting back to the good news. Saabs United reported recently that administrators might not give the company to the highest bidder. Instead, the company that can provide the technology and the know-how for the rebirth of Saab will be chosen.

Several sources say that one European company interested in Saab is “German and located in Munich.” But does it have a blue and white logo that looks like a propeller?

Jokes and anecdotes aside, BMW is supposedly interested in “Saabs and their own cars on the same platform.” Can you imagine a TwinPower 9-3? That would be so cool!

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
