BMW i3 Configurator Goes Live on US website

With the official North American debut of the i3 and i8 at the 2013 LA Auto Show, it seems like BMW decided to finally let curious drivers get a glimpse of how much their dream EV could cost, launching the BMW i3 configurator on their US website.

BMWUSA.com now has an up and running page that allows you to configure your i3 to the slightest details and see what you can or cannot get for your first city-car from the Bavarians.

For the i3 you get 3 different ‘Worlds’ instead of the usual BMW Lines, having a pick out of Mega, Giga or Tera, the most expensive and comprehensive one being the latter.

Depending on the ‘world’ you chose, you can then have your pick out of 6 different colors for the exterior and then head on into the cabin and customize the heck out of it.

We won’t keep you here anymore, we’ll let you get to work but not before we let you know that the i3 starts at USD41,350 before state or federal incentives.
