The new BMW i brand was widely criticized on one side and acclaimed on the other, thanks to its two polarizing models. Whilst the i3 is widely regarded as ‘ugly’, the i8 sits on the opposite pole.
However, most of the world appreciates the real value that hides underneath that thin layer of carbon fibre, saving the planet one car at a time. Both of them are eco-friendly and both offer performance beyond what we expected.

Since they are (and will be for the next few years) considered exotic, tuners are slowly but surely starting to work their magic to offer various add-ons that will make them more... special.

We saw the Alpha-N Performance i8 a while back and Vorsteiner’s take too but this time it’s Lumma Design that takes to the center stage with its CLR I Design concepts.

The i8 features a carbon fibre front spoiler and side skirts and is hopped on bespoke matte black wheels with green accents. The i3, on the other hand wears 22 inch Lumma CLR wheels while the body was augmented with a carbon fibre lip for the front bumper and new side skirts, completely changing its look.

At the moment, these are just renderings but hopefully they will also enter production once the i8 goes on sale.
