It’s been a while since AC Schnitzer launched their so-called ‘Export Sound’ mufflers for F12/F13 6 Series models but we still didn’t get around to seeing too many Bimmers fitted with such products.
And that’s really a shame because in a world dominated by Meisterschaft, Eisenmann and Akrapovic, people tend to forget about AC Schnitzer’s products that are just as good, if not even better, and have been around for a longer time.
They are also problem solvers, like in the video below. You’ll spot a convertible 640i sitting amongst Ferraris and other supercars, representing Bavarian spirit.
Whilst some might say that it didn’t belong there with its ‘measly’ 3-liter turbocharged engine, the new mufflers from ACS made all the difference in the world, making the inline 6-cylinder unit sound really mean, up to par with some of the cars out there.
Furthermore, the man seems to be a bit of an ACS fan, as his car was also decked with some really nice AC Schnitzer Type
IV forged wheels that gave his 6er a special look.
