This week it was Malaysia's turn to welcome the refreshed BMW 5 Series amongst its busy streets and inside the dealerships around the country. The LCI version was launched on the market in 3 model variations: 520i, 520d and 528i.
The entry-level model at the moment is the 184 HP and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque 520d that will be fitted with Piano Black trims, two-zone air conditioning, leather steering wheel and the new iDrive system as standard.
The petrol version, the 520i, will have the same power output but less torque (270 Nm or 200 lb-ft) coming out of a 2-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine and will have four-zone climate control, keyless go, sport steering wheel and paddle shifters.
The top of the range 528i model, will be available only with the M Sport package and comes equipped with even more stock features like aluminum trims, black headliner, 18 inch wheels, HUD and a Harman Kardon sound system.
Prices start at RM354,800 for the 520d, RM368,800 for the 520i model and RM419,800 for the 528i M Sport model.
