The first ever, all-electric BMW, the i3, is currently the car you should get if you live in a big, American city. The car will go on sale in the US next month and BMW is really optimistic about it, developing a whole series of commercials around it.
Of course, looking over the spec list of the car you’ll easily see why the Bavarians are so excited about it and why it will be a big hit. However, just as it is with all cars, you can’t really know all the advantages and disadvantages of a car until you own it.
With the i3 things are a little bit trickier, in the good way. For example, parents won’t hear their children going out for a late night drive because of the electric engine. On the other hand, the BMW i3 app for smartphones will let you know that somebody is depleting your battery and you’ll even be able to see where you kid went with the car.
