Having a drag race between a BMW E92 M3 and a Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG doesn't seem like a good idea, does it? After all the differences are pretty obvious, right?
The Mercedes-Benz has a 6.2-liter V8 engine under the bonnet, developing 457 HP and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque. The sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph) is done with in 4.4 seconds.

Let's look at the BMW now… The displacement is around 2.2-liters less, tipping the scale at 4-liters, it develops 37 HP less and has 200 Nm less (295 lb-ft) than its rival. Sure, the 7-speed DCT transmission is better but that can only do so much.

Therefore, you can't really expect too much of this race. The outcome is not unexpected but, we have to say that the M3 does handle itself quite alright. Furthermore, let's take these two to the track, shall we? Let's see what happens then...
