BMW E92 M3 on Skinny Tires Slides Around in the Wet

As far as taking a normal standard car and properly going drifting in it, there is no better choice than the BMW E90/E92 M3, as it has one of the best balanced chassis in the business and a strong motor - the Toyota GT86 (which we tested and loved) is also worth mentioning, but it lacks the power needed to pull off the more spectacular high-speed stuff.
Still, in this video posted by Marchettino, an E92 M3, on skinny non-M rims and tires, gets drifted around a very damp track. The car is very easy to control, and with the skinnier tires and low-grip conditions, it is extremely tail-happy on any corner, and at any speed. Driving on the road, the car’s ESP system would make most of this behavior disappear, yet the corresponding light on the dash would stay on all the time, showing that computers are keeping you going in a straight line.

Now, with the advent of the new M3, which will most likely be revealed next year (not necessarily in production form, like they did with the 4-Series), the second-hand value of these E90 and E92 cars will go down, and regular people will begin to be able to afford them, so BMW, bring on the new M3, so that more people can enjoy the old one.
