The Nissan Juke-R is a truly unique vehicle, and we are very happy that such a car was built, albeit in a very limited production run. It features the body of a Juke crossover, slapped on top the chassis and running gear of the mighty GT-R.
This means that the Juke, which has a shorter wheelbase than the GT-R, gets the same power (545 hp) as the latest incarnation of the Japanese monster, the same 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 and the same clever torque-vectoring all-wheel drive system. With the axles being closer together, and the slightly higher center of gravity, the Juke-R tends to slide and roll around a bit more than the GT-R, but judging by the onboard video posted by Marchettino, it has no trouble putting the power down.
He was fortunate enough to be driven around by Italian F1 driver, Vitantonio Liuzzi, on a small and very wet track, the perfect conditions for the Juke-R to shine. It apparently finds grip even in the most treacherous road conditions, and when it does let go, it seems easy enough to control.
