BMW Drivers Wear Sexy Lingerie, Study Shows

We don’t know exactly if you should rely on these results, since they were revealed by a British independent survey commissioned by carmony.co.uk, an online used car seller, so for the moment it can only be considered as valid only between the UK borders.

However, since we know you enjoy finding out these kind of studies, especially if there are cars, women and sexy lingerie involved, we will reveal some of the survey’s highlights, which will probably bring a smile to your face, just as it brought to ours.

According to Vancouver Sun via bmwblog.com, Brits seem to become a nation of ‘petrosexual’ drivers, a term which is defined by the Urban Dictionary as used to describe a person who is sexually attracted to their pet animal and not to human beings.... or to describe a person who is obsessed with cars. We tend to believe the study is referring to the latter meaning of the word.

Music is petrosexuals’ number one driving companion, as the study showed they are most likely to listen to Queen – ‘Don’t stop me now’ when driving.

Besides finding that women older than 45 (22 percent) and those that drive BMWs (27 percent) are the most likely to where sexy lingerie, the study also revealed that women are most likely to name their cars and are becoming more knowledgeable when it comes to tell the difference between a coupe and a hatchback.

However, the study also found a connection between male drivers and lingerie... and we quote: “One in 20 (5 percent) of male BMW drivers wear a thong and eight percent of older men are more likely to go commando!” Now every time we see a man driving a bimmer we’ll keep wondering if he is wearing a thong or not...
