BMW’s Australian division has recently announced the pricing for the new 6-Series Coupe, with the grand tourer set to land in delaerships across the country in December.
Customers from Down Under can choose between two engines: the TwinPower Turbo in-line six-cylinder 640i, starting at AU$178,300 and the V8 TwinPower Turbo engine 650i, priced from AU$232,300.
The latter delivers 300 kW between 5,800 and 6,400 Nm and a peak torque of 600 Nm between 1,750 and 4,500 rpm, allowing the driver to enjoy a 0 to 62 mph sprint time of 4.9 seconds. Both models come with a standard eight-speed automatic gearbox.
The vehicle comes with multiple BMW EfficientDynamics technologies, such as Brake Energy Regeneration, Electric Power steering, and High Precision Injectionm which allows the 650i to return a combined cycle fuel efficiency of 10.6 liters per 100 km.
