Since China is relatively new at this whole car culture thing, there are many examples of Chinese car owners failing when they try and modify their rides. From fake diamonds defining the outlines of the windows and lights, to cars which have AMG, Type-R, M and Superleggera badges on the back, you will see lots of these questionably modified cars in the PRC.
The owner of this white BMW 535Li, which is made in China by the Brilliance-BMW joint venture, seems to have gotten it all wrong. For reasons that are beyond us, his white 5-Series has had a an Italian flag decal stuck on, which runs from the bottom of the bumper, over the roof, and onto the bonnet and front bumper.

We have no idea why the owner chose the Italian flag motif. The only explanation we could come up with is that he may have confused the national colors of Italy, with the three colors associated with BMW’s M division, despite the fact that the car does have an M badge on the boot.

Furthermore, there is also a light-blue stripe, running along the side crease of the BMW, and the color is also associated with Italy, so the owner may have just wanted an Italian-themed BMW 5-Series.

Why? We have no clue...
