The rain fought to oppose the rear-wheel drive of our BMW 4 Series test car. Little did it know, this was what made the new BMW coupe happy. By the way, the levels of grip are pretty high these days, so you'll need a meaty engine to keep the tail out.
This face is familiar. Of course it is, it reminds us of the F30 BMW 3 Series test drive. However, it's a reinterpretation. Notice those vertical openings on the corners of the bumper? They're there to improve the airflow around the front wheels and boost efficiency.
The 4 Series is best used as some sort of a GT. Look at it this way and you'll be able to enjoy the time spent together.
The interior is borrowed straight from the 3 Series. Of course, there are a few touches here and there. Then there's the new rear area, much roomier than that of the E92 3 Series Coupe.
