BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe Ordering Guide Reveals Interesting Details

 In the summer of 2014, BMW will be releasing the new, BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe, an answer to the challenges laid out by Audi with its A5 Sportback. The new car will be based on the same platform as the Coupe but it will have 2 extra doors.

Recently, BMW dealers around the US received the ordering guide for their first 4 Series Gran Coupe models, so that they can configure their cars as they want to. At first, the new model will come out in 4 variants, out of which only 2 will be available in the States.

The North American continent will be getting the 428i and 435i whilst the rest of the world will also get 420i and 420d models. The power output for the 4 models won’t change, the 428i and 420i using the same 2-liter engine with 184 HP or 245 HP whilst the 435i will still have 306 HP with the only diesel developing the usual 184 HP.

Options include the cold weather package, driver assistance package, driver assistance plus (includes speed limit info, side and top view cameras), the dynamic handling package, technology package, premium package, all of the optionals.

Standard features will include17″ wheels, sport automatic transmission with shift paddles, power tailgate, power moonroof, power front seats with driver memory, split fold-down rear seats, dark burl walnut wood trim, highlight trim finishers pearl gloss chrome, Xenon headlights.

As for lines, you’ll get to have your pick out of 3 choices, the Luxury Line, Sport Line and M Sport line.
