BMW 3-Series Australian Pricing Announced

BMW has announced the Australian pricing for the new 3-Series, with the 6th generation of the sedan set to go on sale Down Under in February next year with lower prices than that of the outgoing model.

The new 3er is being launched with three engines, two petrols and a diesel, all using forced induction. The current top of the range is the 225kW/400Nm TwinPower Turbo335i, which is offered for AU$91,900, 15 percent less than the model it replaces.

The mid-range model is the 328i, which can be yours starting from AU$66,900, which can be transalted into a price cut of AU$5,000. This offers an output premium of 20 kW and 100 Nm, with values of 180 kW and 350 Nm, while the fuel consumption has been reduced by 30 percent to 6.3 l/100 km.

As for the oil burner, this is the 320d, which comes with a starting price of AU$60,900, offering a 135 kW/380Nm 2.0-liter unit that comes with a fuel efficiency of 4.5l/100km.

“The new generation 3 Series Sedan improves upon BMW’s reputation for sporty driving dynamics, stylish design, advanced technology and safety, powerful and fuel efficient drivetrains and luxury features,” MW Group Australia Managing Director, Phil Horton said.
