We’ve been getting more and more multi-car crashes lately and, unfortunately, another severe one has taken place in Ukraine last month. The disaster happened in Kiev, when the driver of a Bentley Continental Flying Spur entered an intersection, where traffic was being handled by a police officer, carrying way too much speed, causing a crash that injured the policeman and involved nine vehicles.
The first impact saw the Bentley hit a Mercedes CL 500, being so violent that the engine from the German coupe was thrown away from its bay. The rest of the cars, including a VAZ and a Toyota RAV4 followed, with the police officer being caught in the middle of the accident. According to the local news, one of his legs was broken as a result.
Various media sources report that the accident happened due to drugs and alcohol use behind the wheel, but nothing has been confirmed by the police so far.
