Going after new customers with all guns blazing, American automaker is seeking to do some damage with the introduction of more features than one would usually bargain for when purchasing a new 300S.
Introduced as a car intended for “younger, more style-centric customers,” the 300S will offer, alongside with all the technical details that usually accompany a car, a brand new way of experiencing music in a car. Or, at least, that's the promise.
For the first time ever, a Chrysler model will benefit from the aid of some real experts when it comes to the design and applicability of the sound system in the car. With the help of the guys from Beats By Dr. Dre, Chrysler will provide the 300S with what it calls music studio quality sound into the car.
More precisely, the sound system in the 300S will be made up of 10-speaker audio system tweaked to the max. One would say it would be impossible to describe the sound generated by the system enhanced by Beats By Dr. Dre. One should experience it.
"Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine have built their careers on revolutionary and forward thinking decisions that formulate trends in music, popular culture and technology," said Oliver Francois, Chrysler CEO. "Our goal in partnering with Beats By Dr. Dre is to revolutionize the expectations for audio quality in an automobile, establishing a new bar in sound that comes closer than ever before to replicating the recording studio sound of professionals like Dr. Dre and Jimmy for drivers of the new Chrysler 300S."
The model equipped with this sound system will arrive in dealerships this fall. Prices were not announced.
