Here comes another piece of news, however, less terrible than the huge Arizona disaster: one of Brammo's development labs caught on fire, but the emergency sprinklers managed to limit the damage.
As the research lab was separated from the rest of the headquarters in Ashland, OR, the fire had no impact on motorcycle production. According to Adrian Stewart, Brammo Director of Marketing, most of the damage was caused by the water. By the time the firefighters arrived at the Brammo HQ, the fire was almost out and there was only smoke.

It looks like the fire was caused by a group of batteries, and this might not be exactly the best kind of publicity for Brammo. As the company uses Lithium batteries, any sort of imperfect sealing can cause major problems, given the instability of Lithium and the violent reaction with oxygen and water.

Brammo estimates the damage at $200,000 (€155,000).
