Autobahn Crash Kills Three, Involves 52 Cars

Many still haven’t found peace after the 34 vehicle mega-crash that killed 7 people and injured 51 in the UK at the beginning of the month, but a somewhat similar disaster struck on Friday night in Germany.
Two cars had a light accident on an Autobahn in Gronau, close to Germany’s border with the Netherlands, but the heavy fog in the area caused another 50 cars to pile-up. According to RT News, the traffic in the area is usually not too crowded, so the accidents probably lasted for a few minuted in order for the disaster to reach these dimensions.

Two drivers that had probably felt their cars and were sitting behind a guardrail when a car hit it and jumper over it, killing both. Another person was found dead behind the wheel, as his car had gone off the road, down on a hill.

The police is currently investigating the matter - you can see the devastating results of the accident in the adjacent video.
