Australia Readies for 2010 Toy Run

The Motorcycle Riders Association (MRA) Toy Run returns this year, encouraging thousand of motorcyclists and scooterists to meet at various points around the state to increase support and awareness of the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal.

The MRA ToyRun also comes as a great way to socialize with other two and three-wheeled motorists as they deliver toys for the needy, while sporting Christmas decorations on their rides, their clothes and on their helmets.

As well as the thousands of bikes that will be on show, two Victoria Police Bands will also be present, plus there will be artists, choirs, stalls and even stunt rider Lukey Luke will be there to fire up his Triumph for burnouts, stoppies and wheelstands.

"In my day job I do a lot of professional Santa engagements, I just love doing it for the kids. The Toy Run this year will be great for families everywhere to not only give to those in need but to join us in a great day out," stated MRA Victoria president Kerry Walton.
