There’s a big difference in how cars look like in official photos sent out by the manufacturers and how they eventually turn out once you spot them on the street. One time, I didn’t even recognize a car when it was in front of me and I had to go over the badges to be sure what I was looking at. That’s how big the difference was.
However, when it comes to some cars, the real-life model can even look better than the photoshopped versions you get to see online. One such car is the new M4, apparently.
One Autogespot spotter just caught up with it in Munich, all dressed up in the brand new Austin Yellow color, a paint that was developed especially for the new model. The best thing about it is that it has absolutely no camo on whatsoever, excepting the usual “Werkstestwagen” sticker round the back, making for a dashing appearance before the car even reached dealerships around the world.
The new Coupe will be making its official debut at a major car event next week, alongside the Sedan M3, at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, set to start on January 13. See you there!
