Audi's New Logo Comes at Frankfurt

Just as we told you some time ago, Audi this year revised the company's logo to celebrate the 100th anniversary so it brought the four rings a slightly different look. The German brand says the new logo perfectly represents the key message of the company: Vorsprung durch Technik.

“As we see it, Vorsprung durch Technik is a clear promise to our customers – and an obligation for all Audi employees to render our design even more innovative, our drive systems even more efficient and our product range even more emotion-packed,” says Peter Schwarzenbauer, Member of the Board of Management for Marketing and Sales at Audi AG.

“Audi is the most progressive premium brand,” says Peter Schwarzenbauer. “This orientation to the future is in our genes – and in time for Audi’s 100th anniversary has consequently now become a part of our brand logo.”

Audi says the new logo will be used in all sectors of the industry, "from classic advertising, publications and Audi press kits to sponsorship and the Audi website". As we told you before, it already appeared at the company's 100th anniversary celebrations but will make its international debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show this month.

"There it will add the crowning touch to the white, red and black Audi AG exhibition stand, which covers 6,000 square meters and has been designed to reflect Audi’s characteristic “terminal” architecture," Audi said.

Audi will display several new models at the Frankfurt Auto Show, including the newly-revealed S5 Sportback, plus an electric vehicle which is said to represent the first major step made by the German carmaker in the green car sector.
