The Audi R8 V18 Plus has received a serious tech upgrade from German tuner B&B, with the supercar now delivering up to 628 HP.
B&B takes the 5.2-liter V10 unit of the car, which delivers 550 HP and 398 lb-ft (540 Nm) of torque when stock, and offers three levels of extra muscle. The new outputs are as follows: 595 HP / 560 Nm, 610 HP / 570 Nm and 628 HP / 585 Nm.
To achieve this, the V10 received mods to the main parts that make it different to the 5.2-liter V10 in the Lamborghini Gallardo, the intake and exhaust. The Audi units gets carbon fiber air filters and a stainless steel exhaust, which comes with sound-controlling valves.
The unit also gets custom intake piping. In addition, new injectors, as well as ignitions mods were installed.
In its top form, the Audi R8 V10 Plus by B&B reduces the 3.5-second 0-62 mph sprint time of the stock car by 0.3 seconds, while the new top speed sits at 328 km/h (204 mph).
Along with the extra power, B&B offers an adjustable suspension that allows the driver to lower the car by up to 40 mm, as well as 20-inch wheels wrapped around in 235/30 R20 front and 305/25 R20 rear tires.
